**ALL AGES** Musician's Spotlight featuring Alese & Coma Toast

Reno Musician's Collective spotlights talented local musicians. Each artist plays a 60 minute set, and they are free to express themselves through covers or originals (or even poetry!) - they are also free for other singers or instrumentalists to accompany them. Coma Toast is a progressive rock project headed by Alex Kastanek. Born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997 and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, he started taking drum lessons and grew a passion for drumming at the age of 13. In 2012, he started composing songs and writing lyrics, and since then has become a self-taught dabbler in recording, producing, and mixing. His first album “This World” was self-produced and debuted on November 15, 2019, and a second album is coming in 2026. He now resides in Reno, Nevada and plays music with many musical friends including a duo project with Alese Linder and percussion with the Alese & the Acoustic Rebels. Alese was raised in South Carolina on a musical diet of 90's country, gospel, and alternative music and the masterful story-telling of songbirds like Jewel and Sarah McLachlan. She has been singing since she can remember and writing songs for the past 15 years. She enjoys playing laidback, well-known cover songs with a few originals sprinkled in. She also runs Reno Musician’s Collective, and has a passion for supporting musicians in Northern Nevada. When she's not doing something around music, she's likely hanging with her dog Darla, organizing all the things, or plotting her next adventure. https://www.facebook.com/events/922086404199926/

Red Intermediate Shibari Workshop w/ Entwine Nevada

Dive into the world of sensuality, trust, and connection as you explore the beauty of shibari. During the class, our experienced instructor from Entwine-NV will guide you through various terms, techniques, and practices of intention, safety, and consent. For this intermediate workshop, we will ensure you have a decent single- and double-column tie, and hojo cuff. To complete the tengu, you'll need up to 45-60ft of rope depending on chest width. If you do not have rope, we will be selling it at the class or you can add it on to this ticket (see below) Will there be models/bottoms available to practice tying on during classes/workshops? No. Many solo attendees have been able to practice together, even becoming rope friends outside events. However, if you are attending solo expect to practice on yourself. Do not expect others to be available to you. **Consent Rules/Etiquette** The space will be open for (non-sexual) play the whole evening. Alcohol is served so please be aware of your consumption and anyone who you may tie with. Please only engage in situations that are within the risk profiles of everyone involved. No sexual play is allowed; no nudity No interrupting scenes/persons tying (unless previously discussed). No touching of people or their belongings without their consent. No taking photos or videos of anyone without their consent (please pay attention to who might be tying around you/in the background before doing so). ______________________________________________________________________ CONSENT POLICY This is a safe space for everyone. We will not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or unwanted approaches. We want to create a welcoming environment where anyone can safely communicate what they want and don't want from every interaction. If anyone engages in any sort of predatory behavior or is making you uncomfortable, please alert the hosts. We will believe you and help in any way we can, whether by facilitating conversations or removing someone from the space. CONSENT BEST PRACTICES ASK before engaging in any form of conversation or rope play with anybody. If you are unsure about how to go around this, come up with a script beforehand (ex. "Hey, I'd love to try X with you. Would you like to do that too?"). Yes means yes, every other answer is a no. Maybe is a no, mumbling is a no, deflection is a no. Give space to the other person to truly think about any approach and give you an honest answer. Please be respectful, and receive ANY response with a "thank you". Remember consent can change from one moment to the next, and it is OK. If someone is a YES for something, does not mean they will still be a YES in 5 minutes. Please check in with your partners continuously. We will go over our consent policy at the beginning of the evening, as well as with any late arrivals. Anyone found to be a creeper, or that violates our consent policy will be removed from the space. We reserve the right for admission and permanence. Reach out to the host(s) (Eudoxia at renoropebite@gmail.com) with any questions. https://www.facebook.com/events/1547007190476975/
